Hand-pinched, never molded

Every Soot & Sprout companion is shaped by hand in Jingdezhen. Small shifts in size, texture, mineral speckling, and expression are part of its character.

Incense holders

Our incense holders are unglazed, high-fired ceramic pieces with an approximately 1 mm opening for one incense stick. Always use a separate heat-resistant ash tray. The tray and incense are not included.

Soot Series aroma stones

The three black Soot Series companions are made from high-fired maifanite clay: maifanite mineral powder is blended with ceramic clay, hand-pinched, then fired. They are fired ceramic, not carved raw stone, and they are not incense holders.

Packaging

Each piece arrives in a 13 x 8 x 9 cm paper zip box with tissue paper. Packed weight is under 1 kg.
